OCD Pattern Finder

Discover what keeps pulling you back into the same loop — and where you can start to loosen its grip.

OCD can show up in very different ways. One person may be worried about contamination, another may be caught in intrusive thoughts, checking, relationship doubts, health fears or the need for something to feel “just right”. The subject can change, but the pattern underneath is often surprisingly similar.

Once you can spot that pattern, it becomes easier to notice the point where you have a choice about what to do next.

A simple way to spot the pattern OCD keeps pulling you into

This short questionnaire is designed to help you recognise what happens after a thought or feeling appears. It isn’t a diagnostic test and it won’t tell you whether you “have OCD”.

The examples are there to help you recognise the process rather than provide a checklist of symptoms. Try completing the Pattern Finder once rather than repeating it to try to get certainty from the result.

There are 10 questions. You won’t receive a score. At the end, you’ll see the patterns that stood out most strongly in your answers.
